State Bank Of India Cards — unused amount and closure of the credit card account

Dear sir / madam,

This is payal patel from vadodara an sbi credit card holder.

The complaint is in respect to the following details plus some screen shots are also added in the file for future reference.

Had requested for the balance transfer of rs. 22000 on the guidance of the customer care executive as according to her i would have a more 45 days’ time to pay the amount i have used but she didn’t clarified that the amount is going to be debited from my card account itself dispute she mentioned that is a loan from other bank however, have requested to cancel the balance transfer request in gap of few days.

During the call she mentioned the receive the cheque and keep it with you do not deposit it but later have discovered it that my cancellation request is not registered and also they have added additional service tax in my next billing cycle. After several follow-ups, they haven’t cancelled my request and every time they add late fees into my bill. Being an unemployed member i don’t have any earning which makes it hard for me to pay such a huge amount. That was also the reason to cancel the balance transfer amount to my card.

Had received the complaint number in sms but unfortunately have missed the number due to my mobile being affected and had to format it.in the last conversation with customer care they did ask for the complaint number but as i had missed it was unable to accord the same thereby they had simply denied that i had never made the cancellation request.

Dispute of the below attached mail conversation i am not guided nor my case is handed over to the senior with my authority or knowledge on same. Secondly sbi card customer care is able to excess the screen of my online log in account which again is not viable for the customer’s transaction safety.

Thus approaching to the rbi complaint to resolve this issue. As of whenever visited the bank and contacted the executive for sbi cards, they are simply as please contact customer care denied to look into the matter every time, it's almost two months now still haven’t deposited the cheque and its lying with me.

Would also request to close my credit card account with sbi cards.
