[Resolved]  Student — FRAUD AND CHEATERS IN LAMINGTON ROAD

I visited the shop "MCANN INFOSYS" at Lamington Road to buy a laptop within a range of 28K-29K. The guy from the shop gave me an amazing configuration, "Inter Ci5 3RD Gen/4GB DDR3/500GB HDD/1GB Gfx/1.3MP webcam/5in1 Card reader/BT/WiFi". Along with it he was providing me with bulk of complimentory accesories. Bag, headsets, USB hub, USB mouse along with 16GB Pen drive. I was amazed with the quotation he gave n thought of going for it. But later on there came 3 customers with more or less similar kind of complaints. Looking at all these 3 incidents, I decided to confirm with the Dell Sales team, if the configuration he provided was valid. The Dell executive denied the configuration straight away. The best part was when he explained everything about the laptop in details. As per him, 1) Core i5 2nd gen is a single core processor 2) It doesnt support 64 bit applications 3) On checking properties in My Computer, it shows as Celeron 0.9Ghz 4) The best thing, Ci5 3RD gen. doesnt support MSOffice versions beyond 2003... ROFL or LMAO??? When he went to register the model, I found it was already registered and the warranty left was 313 days alongwith 90 days POW (Parts over Warranty). When I asked why is it so, he said 90 days is Dell sevice warranty and 9 months will be his shop warranty. Also, he provides Microsoft Windows 7 pirated editions for the same rate. My request to all of you is never visit this shop as the Shopkeeper is a fraud and sells manipulated computers. He changes all the parts inside and sells them pretending he is selling the new one. I also request the administrator of this site to take a strict action against such fraud dealers. I hope you are listening and this site is really effective. DONT GO ON THE INTERIOR THEY ARE FRAUDS.
