Syntel — date of joining

i lost every thing because of selecting to syntel ......
the worst company i had ever seen. every one is a cheater in syntel. frustrated

syntel is such a useless company. they have spoilt thousands of careers.They have issued offer letter to every1 bt dont have courtesy to give joining.such an idiotic company to enter at the start of our career......

I must say companies like SYNTEL treat the Indian students as their slaves. Every year they recruit so many people from different parts of INDIA and put them in waiting queue for more than 2 years. Still they don't give joining to all.

The HRs in syntel are Stupid. They are ruining their own future with the syntel's policies.
Syntel HRs are the most irresponsible person. They never give replies to queries of students. They dont know anything .. any information from their side, are always inconsistent.I dont know wat the hell they are doing in the company?

My sincere advice never join this company... Explore yourself try another

Sir , we are recruited by SYNTEL INDIAN LTD,PUNE based software company as a Graduate Trainee Engineer and they also gives us a offer letter to all o[censored]s but they don't give joining and said you have to wait 1 year for joining and scheduled for October' 09 and we all are wait for that period with a hope that we get a call but no response from their side after October '09 when we do call they cut the line and don't say anything regarding batches calling.That company cheated with 2000 recruited employees .....its a big spot over the Indian software firms company ......they ruined the life of 2000 engineers and MCA guys......!

If they don't want to call us so why they recruited in bulk ...i just only want to say to trust such a company ,they make our life hell..make more worst that DEATH

Dear Sir,
I was recruited by Syntel on dated 25th May 2007 on the post Graduate Engineer Tainee. After few month i.e. in august 2007, I got my offer letter.After completion of my degree from BIT SINDRI in May 2008, I was egerly waiting for my joining and my family were very happy to me that in some days I will start earning and will contribute to my family to reduce proverty from the family. But Nothing happened like that.On dated 26th November 2008 I got an official email from Syntel mentioning delay in joining. I was asked to wait till 3rd quarter of 2009.Now this period has passed very earlier but yet there is no any communication from the company side regarding my joining.Even when I try to contact them through either email or phone there is no response from the company.When I email them, mail reverted back and no HR is ready to receive my call.Perhaps official contact no. mentioned in my offer letter has also changed.
Hence there is official communication gap between company and me since 26th Nov 2008. And now I feel I was cheated by the company. This is not the case with me only. We are all about 2000 such fresh engineers in all over India who are still waiting in the hope of getting joining. After all we are all alone and not able to take any step against this company.Also don't know how to proceed to claim for our right of offered job by the company. Please guide us and if possible take a quick action against the company because we have already wasted about 2 years in the hope of getting job.

If the time-frame of max to max 90 days for settlement is considered, you should get his PF money by this 20th Jan 2010.
