Tally solutions team needs to immediately act on their product to make it fit for consumers in the current market. Where there are zoho, zero, and quickbooks. With much more remote usage facility, import of data directly from excel without paying any extra sum, self-help guide for customization like invoice printing, or reports etc. Tally erp just can't match with it.

The price of the tally comes with a upfront huge one time payment. And then annual charges - where by the user receives important tally updates. Which when compared to the other softwares the price is relatively way high. Its amc charges are as much as the yearly subscription of zoho, zero, and quickbooks.

Point 1
I have been facing issues with tally since 2015. When i first installed it. Around which i was actually using quickbooks. I took my data from qb to hop-onto tally. Guess what? I couldn't import any data. I complained about it - just to face with their customer service executive asking me to either buy an add-on or go for customization. Which didn't make any sense to me.

Think about it a product which doesn't want people to start using it for their business from the moment they buy. Clearly a poor design of concept. Further promoting other small partners which create tally add-ons. Like a mafia.

For this feature tally had given me a dead-line that it will be launched in the coming month. And its 2018 now. Tally solutions can't deliver as promised.

Its okay not deliver things on time, as different obstacles could be faced by the team which we as consumers are unaware, therefore its acceptable. Whats not acceptable is that there is no alternative where by people can import data for free. Totally unacceptable.

Point 2
The year 2018 came with vat in the middle east. And i use tally for vat. I was expecting not to pay amc until tally came with some useful feature. But, due to vat coming in the picture i had to pay for an amc so to receive an update to be with the vat code.

This in simple words is called extortion. As a user i had no option apart updating to the software for being with the code.

I complained about it, the received the middle regions head. Showed him the issue. He agreed as a problem. And guess what he said? I will provide you with some custom solutions.in exchange of removing a social media post?

After which i drew a conclusion that the tally solutions have come mid-way from transiting from the old ideology to the modern one, where they give importance to their social image. Which is a good thing. Sadly they are just working on the superficial things instead of actually improving the product.

Point 3
Tally erp isn't the worst product out there and there are much worst products out there. Its just that i just happen to observe problems on tally. Which doesn't justify the high premium price that we consumers are paying.

I would say that candy crush has a better acceptance of suggestions and implementations than tally currently has. Where as candy crush is casual game, tally is a legitimate resourceful software, but just not for the current market requirement.

Few examples,
Recently in tally i couldn't print multiple sales vouchers of an account. There are just not options for it.

The trn or gst numbers don't get updated on the accounts after modifying the records.

If you switch the voucher entry type from sales to credit note or purchases - the previous's vat account appears. Like sales shows output vat, and when i switch to purchases it shows me output vat. Which it shouldn't.

Not only this its remote access is also buggy. I just can't update anything on its remote tally usage, it just gets stuck after every click.

And a lot more things. For which i have over the years contacts tally. And they have promised to work on it. But all those promises have not materialized, and now that is my pain point.

I have requested tally to provide me entire sum refund of the amc charges and only charge any amc when they come up with the release with excel data import. Which is fair and just for both o[censored]s.

And i would urge everybody to do the same.

Softwares come and softwares go.. But a software should never stop us grow!

Tally is currently the non-efficient product which today would stop your business growth.

    I am very old user, but since last few month i am facing the problem in the tally operating. I am already made the complain to your service partner sparsh innovators pvt ltd. 48 vivekanand road near girish park kolkata-06. At time of sale their representative mr. Ranjit kumar offer me that they installed the synchronization system in our licence & provide the service time to time. But last 1 year they are not provide me proper service. Made many complain but they close my complain before solving the problem & without information & getting confirmation from me. My problems are mention below:-

    1. Not installed the synchronization system.
    2. Tally is operating very slow at time of preparation of gst return as well as making of bills.
    3. Maximum show the tally not responding problem & hang the tally while i made the sale invoices.
    4. Going educational mode in multi user system.
    5. After make call for visit at site only they provide the complain number & tell me that our representative visit your office / contact you. But no one visit the site & contact me.
    6. My last complain no is 41538 loged by miss akriti of sparsh innovators pvt ltd.
    7. About above mention problem i also inform the technical person mr. Rudro & palas das to solve the problem they only told please lodge the complain to sparsh innovators pvt ltd. Then we visit your site but after lodging the complain they also not solve my problems.
    Now you suggest me who can solve my problem & how much time you need to solve this problem & visit my premises to install the synchronization system & other problems to resolve.

      Sir, i bought a tally 6.3 (With hardware lock) during 2003, and the same was using till date. Now i need to upgrade the tally into gst, but when i approached the tally local partners in malappuram dist, kerala, they told me that the same was upgraded by some other tally channel partner without my consent to some one else (J c associates, calicut an accounting firm). I feel very bad about the company, tally a reputed world wide concern???. Shame on you. How can we trust them, as the same case may happen to so many clients like me. How can we trust the company with the software we are purchased by paying the money as they are demanded for their products is actually can use year after year. One a product is purchase by a customer, he is the owner of that product until he sold the same to some one. (This is the law) i am right?

        We had purchased tally 7.2 /6.3 silver to tally. Erp 9 silver from your dealer impressive star softwares (P) ltd f-3, mayur apartment, raj bhavan raod, near civil-lines metro station, jaipur (Raj) on[protected] and they issued invoice number : is/r-710/17-18 with our wrong gst no. And in-spite of many requests e mails and phone calls but they did not issued the revised bill. Our gst no. Mentioned by the dealer was not a wrong spelled no. But it is a gst no. Of another party. So it is cleared that they wat to give the credit of gst collected from us to another party with bad intention. So please take up the matter with them and instruct them to issue a revised bill with our gst no. Software details are : serial :[protected] nos.

          Which is not resolve by the tally expert team and they told me temporary you edit the all old entries or create a new account of same bank account which both are not possible for us.

          Please provide the option of enter the same cheque range in the same bank

          Or remittance of the amount of rs 11000/- which is paid to you for annual subscription and allow us free subscription for next 02 year.

          Your expert team answer us very rudely and said us you need to do as this given two option above only. We can't do anything.

          We are not expect this type of answer from your company

          We pay the amount for getting the better and proper solution from your team if they don't provide the service you need to pay back the subscription fees or free of service as a compensation to us.

          Today I have calling to anu tally solution. Taslim pick up the phone & I have not resolved this complaint. Kya karogye told this word. Next time i have any software purchased but tally is not suggest any person .

            Am a client of tally solutions for past 6 months, am purchased tally before just implementation of GST. My dealer at thrissur "tally point" offered GST modification also covered. but after implementation of GST (on 01-july-2017) they did't give any support. so-many times am tried to contact my dealer tally point at thrissur but i cant. now am in deep trouble like to maintain outstanding and other accounts. 2 days before i got the owner of tally point through phone and he said no updations started from the side of tally solution and i[censored] want solution tally point should provided solution paid basis only (3500.00 rs) . This words make me very irritate-able . so i think and make a complaint against tally . don't cheat any one ... pls

              The person who is providing tally solutions in indore, they are not trained to solve customer problem. I was on a call for 3 hours but they can not provide solution, then without any information they cut a call. Boss mr. Mahesh mehta's behavior is pathetic with customers. He don't have any manners how to talk with customer. Date of incident is 28/10/2017.
              Please, take some actions against them.

                I've been contacting tally to know the procedure to change multi site license to single site. These guys are such a big liars who will end up saying either to mail at [protected]@tallysolution.com or to wait for 6 business hours where someone will contact you. Since 4 days i'm following up with them and these filthy fellows are making fool out of customer!! Look at the images and complaint date and status and decide. Customer care executives don't have any idea regarding problem, they'll just take your complaint and just say to wait for 6 hrs. They are bunch of # who will just talk about what happened, ok, we have noted your issue please wait for 6 hrs. Hell! I want solution from you guys, not answer like to wait and bla bla.

                  Customer care staffs are not competent to resolve our issues regarding exporting gstr-1 data in excel format. We have made 5 calls today but our querry was not resolved. Every time they put our call on hold for long time. The person attending the phone has no knowledge about how to solve the problems and they themselves ask from other persons while putting our calls on hold. We have wasted our whole day because of this. They were even not ready to take us on team viewer software and neither they are transferring the call to their expert or technical team. Kindly take strict action on them.

                    I am practicing chartered accountant, upgraded to tally erp9 auditor edition during may, 2009 from tally 6.3 which was purchased on 28/03/2003. Now i have to uograde to gst version of tally erp and approached on 10/08/2017 to tally dear m/s. Konark computer, machhodari, varanasi who told me that my license is blocked. I submitted my firm details on letter head. Above said tally dealer submitted my case to tally solutions. Some time later, the said dealer asked me to furnish proof of purchasing tally 6.3 version. I given him scanned copy of bank statement wherein payment of rs. 7800/- is shown to have been made on 04/04/2003 by cheque in the name of tally solutions. I also contacted on 25/08/2017 regional manager and branch manager mr. Awanish srivastva and mr. Prasoon saxena stationed at lucknow and made available them all documents, my firm details but till now no resolution came up from them. I used to contact above company's personel on mobile every day, who assure me that my complaint has been forwarded to licensing team at bangluru and no reply is received from them. I am suffering a lot in my professional work. It is my earnest request to solve my problem within couple of days.

                      This is anand mittal from mittal packaging, secunderabad.

                      We sincerely regret to inform you that it was our deadly mistake by purchasing tally erp from your local vendor in hyderabad. Before purchase he was very soft, but never support us after sale of the software.
                      ‌at the time of purchase he commited to give complete training and full support till 12 months free of cost and also gives complete training about tally software. But after sales he was completely changed and when we call him and asked about the training, he is not responding properly to our calls. After endless waiting time, numerous unanswered calls. Total mental harassment because of such pathetic service and after so many calls he picks our call and said he can not resolve any of our problem and informed arrogantly that he will not support and give any service free of cost as he is getting only 100 or 200 rupees in selling software and we have to take amc for rs. 6000 to get support from him and when we ask him about his commitment before sales he informed us that we have to show any written commitment he has done with us. It was a very bad experience we have faced after paying a huge amount of rs.18900 for tally erp software and after six months after facing lots of problem we have given amc to some another person for rs.5000/ year.
                      ‌it was our wrong decision of selecting tally as our accounting software as there are many software are available in market at lesser price with free service.

                      I request every person to never purchase any software blindly specially tally. You should take a letter of agreement before paying any amount.

                        I am facing an issue while using tally. Erp (Remote login) while selecting the tax rate under gst regim.

                        For this i have already raised an alarm at you help desk on dt. 21st august 2017 who explained his difficulty in unable to solve the issue & given us the complain no. Tly21aug20174443 & confirmed us that we will receive a call from the tally support team within 6 working hours.

                        However, till date we have not received any call or support from them.

                        Such type of careless approach of such a good team is not at all acceptable.

                        Kindly look into the matter & do the needful at the ealriest.

                          We had applied for auditors edition of tally software through mail on 30.06.2017 through their channel partner acc infotech wheras they discontinued the auditors edition from 01.07.2017. Their channel partner did not forward my application to the head office and now they are denying me to issue the auditors version saying they have discontinued. But i should be getting the auditors edition as i had applied before 01.07.2017 itself. And their circular says that the request should have been submitted by 30.06.2017.
                          I have circular copy and the mail copy which i forwarded to acc infotech.

                            We are tally 3 star partner based at jaipur by name titan data products, we have renewed subscription to one customer which bill was[protected], due to mistake his bill made of amount @3600 plus gst and our service charge of rs, 500 into that hence he gave us amount of rs.4700 but when we rectify his invoice and called for balance payment he is denying for same, we request to cancel the upgradation on that number and raise credit note for receive amount from him so that we keep our labour charge and return his amount otherwise we will be in loss

                                We had bought and upgraded through p u enterprise (Kolkata). Recently we once again approached for upgrade but we have been informed that our licence has been transferred to another concern through misconduct. We have lodged complain against tally administration and got ticket no. (Complain no.) 22july 5235. After we are from 23rd july continuously requesting by mails and calls chasing for the problem. Quiet unhappily have to share that no one is looking to this matter neither through written mails nor on phone calls.

                                Customer care services are useless . We were forced to buy other program because people at customer care were a bunch of irresponsible people .                                   I have purchased an add on from tally partner - gseven. After updating tally release to 6.0.1 the add on is not working. I tried many times on gseven landline number but they never transfer the call to service desk despite waiting so long in the waiting line on call.

                                  I am arun working on tally erp.9 serial number is[protected].
                                  Yesterday one of my company’s data got corrupted and i contact tally to get it done. This issue was not able to solved by your junior executives so they told me that you will receive the call from higher department they will do it. Firstly the juniors waste my time of approx 2 hours yesterday by saying do this do that, business solution but not getting proper response and today my tally data also got corrupted.
