We are residents of Pachaiamman Kovil Street, Zamin Pallavaram (near Kambar and Kabilar Street), and we would like to bring to your attention that street cleaning in our area is not being carried out properly. Garbage is scattered on the roads, and the sweepers are not cleaning it effectively. Additionally, we have not seen any supervisors monitoring their work.
Despite multiple complaints, no corrective action has been taken. Workers seem to be scanning and submitting reports for minimal garbage collection as part of their management process, but they are not addressing the larger waste piles. It is unclear how many trips the garbage trucks make or whether proper inspections are conducted. Furthermore, residents from other streets are dumping their garbage in our area, despite being asked not to, but they continue to do so without concern.
This situation has led to an unhygienic environment with a strong odor, making it extremely difficult for school children and working individuals who pass through the area daily.
We sincerely request you to take the necessary action to ensure regular and thorough cleaning of our street. Your prompt attention to this matter would be highly appreciated.
