Tamilnadu Government — Unjustified hike in property tax

Tamilnadu Govt.has decided to increase the property tax in all Municipal Corporations, Municipalities and Town Panchayats under the TN.Dist.
Municipalities Act 1920, across the state with immediate effect on the recommendations of the 15 th central Finance Commission.According to the reports, the property owners will have to shell out against the additional
Burden by 50-150% towards tax.The Govt.'s move is unjustified.Again and again, TN Govt.has been proving its anti- people stand. It should be noted that the present Govt.immediately after assuming office in 2021, has increased the Tax that too from April, 2020 which is highly condemnable. Will the 15 th central Finance Commission too act against the interests of the public like the State Govt.?Any way, TNGovt.has conveniently transferred the blame to CFC to escape the wrath of the public. Will the logic be accepted by the state Govt.that people's forum has unanimously decided to reject this DMK Govt.that is not at all doing fair in all its Governance. All the DMK men have amassed wealth disproportionately.Let them, including the ministers and other leaders, contribute sizably to the Govt.to fix its financial crisis. Why public should be taxied with unjustified taxes? This reminds me of what happened to the BSNL at Pollachi in 1994( if my memory serves right) when harassing the landline phone users with unjustified tariffs. All those having 'LL phone connections ignored the demand of BSNL and refused to.pay the bills, unitedly.A heavy loss was incurred to BSNL.Eventually, not withstanding any further loss, BSNL surrendered to the public, waiving all their dues to them and promising to upgrade the facilities to them.BSNL suffered a heavy monetary loss because of their adamancy and wrong doings.Such a situation will arise against the state Govt.unless the abnormal hike is rolled back, immediately.
