Tata Capital — loan rejected due to lack of communication from the loan department

I spoke to devendra today to enquire about my loan status and he informed me that your loan is rejected because of the residence proof (Sale agreement of my flat) send over email is deemed invalid.

He also said that he tried to reach me, i want to know if this was the case the person should have informed me when he came to collect my document however he did not inform me that document over email will not be considered. Also, if the customer is not reachable or unable to answer the call the rep should have messaged stating that tatacapital needs the hard copy of the resident proof and if not given the loan will be rejected.

Also note from day 1 i have informed the rep of tatacapital that i dont have access to my phone once i am in the office. Then tatacapital should had left me a message that the loan will be rejected if they dont get the copy of agreement. Its not that i dont have the residence proof with me, i have it, all they had to do was to only inform me but this was not done.

The behaviour of the sales rep and the person who came to collect the document was definately below the benchmark. They had rescheduled the appointment to collect the document several time and never came to collect the document at the time promised over the phone.

Nobody reached out to me to inform me the progress of my loan since the day i submitted my document.

Does the customer service ends the day when customer submits the document, is it not the duty of the case handler to attempt to reach the customer in case the loan is getting rejected due to resident proof.

Since the day i said yes to apply for this loan i have been getting back to back followup calls to collect the document more so to an extent that i was feeling harrased.

Even after addressing my issue and concern to the person over email till date the person have not replied to my email.

So i send an email to tatacapital customer care and they came back to me stating that sir it is the fault of the document verification department so we can do anything about it.
