I was trying for personal loan online in the last week of October 2023 and I received a SMS on 27th October from TATA Capital that pre-approved loan for Rs 145, 000 was available to me. I applied for it and they called me on 29th and did all document verification online and approved the loan for Rs. 145, 000. On 31st their agent visited my house for verification. Application ID:[protected]. Application No. APPL14136396. They said, Rs. 138, 230 will be transferred to my SBI account after all deductions. Moreover, they activated INB E-Mandate in my SBI account and informed that the first EMI (Rs. 5613) will be deducted on 05/12/23 and the last EMI on 05/11/26. But the loan was not disbursed so far. I shot two emails to them but no reply. I couldn't contact them on customer care number because only the customers who applied for loan on TATA Capital App can get information regarding their loan status. I checked online and for the last six days it shows as post approval data entry. I couldn't understand the TATA Capital's modus operandi but giving false hopes is ethically wrong.
I request them to disburse the loan as soon as possible and they have to give reasons why do they make such delays.
