[Resolved] Tata Capital — processing fee collected twice | |||
Hi, I took the home loan from tata capital of rs 5, 00, 000. I already paid the processing fee in advance in the name of tata capital with cheque no 7 on 13-jul-2017 of rs 5750. They charged processing fee again at the time of disbursement of loan of rs 3000. I requested the customer care (So many times) to refund the earlier paid processing fee of rs 5750. But they didn't refund the amount yet. I shared the bank statement and loan account statement where we can clearly see the amount deducted twice but yet they claim it was deducted only once. The main culprit behind this issue is loan officer who forced me to pay the cheque of rs 5750 (In the name of tata capital) in advance even before the loan sanctioned or disbursed. I questioned him like why should i pay the processing fee in advance when loan amount is not yet disbursed and his reply was that is their rule. Please help in getting the refund and take strict action against bank so that they wont do again such frauds for other customers.
