I, Sajil Nair, availed an educational loan from Tata Capital to pursue higher studies in Ireland. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing, and I wish to formally lodge a complaint regarding the following critical issues:
Insurance Amount Deducted but No Policy Issued:
An amount of ₹33, 000 was deducted from my loan under the pretext of health/loan insurance.
To date, over one year later, no insurance policy has been issued or shared with me.
Despite multiple follow-ups via emails and calls, Tata Capital has failed to provide any valid documentation or resolution.
Lack of Communication and Misrepresentation:
I was never informed at the time of loan disbursal that this deduction would be made or that the insurance certificate was not ready.
I was given false assurances repeatedly, which has caused unnecessary stress and jeopardized my compliance with health insurance requirements abroad.
Unprofessional Conduct:
I was even sent a gift hamper containing expired eatables, which adds insult to injury and reflects the brand's negligence and lack of quality control.
Their post-sales support has been unresponsive, unreliable, and at times, completely evasive.
Financial Loss Incurred:
₹33, 000 deducted without fulfillment of promised service.
Emotional and mental stress due to unresolved documentation during my stay abroad.
Relief Sought:
Immediate refund of ₹33, 000 or issuance of the promised valid insurance policy.
Formal written apology from Tata Capital for their mishandling.
Compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused, if applicable.
