I got selected in TCS in November of 2023 and put my resignation in the current company on 5th December 2023.
Now my joining date at TCS was 20th march and my last working day at previous company was 3rd march, i got my experience letter from previous company on13th march, which i uploaded on 13th march.
My BGC started on 20th march, now i have worked in two companies before TCS. My First company was a startup which registered in august of 2019 and i joined in same month, now the company gave me salary sometimes via UPI or sometime via online payment, for starting 6 months so i was paid online and for last 6 months i was paid 19800 in cash.
This company went out of business soon after i left.
During BGC i notified TCS that my first employer is not in business anymore and provided that company's certification of recognition and registration and my experience letter and their payslips.
After this my 2nd company was Capgemini India where i worked for a investment bank which did extensive BGC and found everything was in accordance and were ok with the fact that i was paid under 20k for last 6 months of my tenure. As there is no Law which says salary cannot be paid in cash if it is under 20k.
Now during my BGC at TCS they have rejected my candidature after i have resigned from my previous company only on the basis of "Salary being paid in cash at first organization". Now what i am supposed to do as i was dependent on TCS. This is causing me severe depression.
Please provide a solution so that they resume my candidature as i am unemployed now due to TCS Was this information helpful? |
