I had placed an order from Tata 1 mg for Nua Acne Pimple patches. The order was prepaid. The MRP listed for the same product on the application was Rupees 299/-, however the MRP on the product is rupees 159. Which is almost double the difference.
I was charged Rupees 245 for the same, which also included an igst of rupees 37.37. I would like to mention that there is no other option to contact the customer service for complaints like these.
The crux of the issue is that, the MRP is set by the manufacturers of the product and cannot be influenced by third-party e-commerce marketplaces. In India, the sale of a product above its set MRP is deemed illegal. Was this information helpful? |
