I have bought a diamond necklace @ gold plus. Diamond cost was Rs. 100320, we got 25% discount on diamonds i.e, Rs 75, 240. Gold cost was 25, 898. Making charges were 26, 742
total price of diamond necklace was 1, 27, 880 under the discount scheme.
On the day of purchase they said us that if we are willing to exchange/sell the product back, valuation will be done on prevailing cost of diamond and gold, making charges will not be given back.
but when we went to sell the product after 8 months, prevailing cost of diamond was 100, 400 but they said the diamond value is 75, 240 only, because you got it under discount scheme. it was a shock for us, total product was valuated at Rs 90000. we asked why so much difference ? they said we charge 10% for cash payments.
we asked why these conditions were not said at the time of purchase ? a simple sorry is said by the manger, and we lost Rs 37000 .
Tata Goldplus is a big cheating company. staff are unethical, they talk differently at the time of purchase and when we go to sell they will show their true colours.
