[Resolved] Tata Motors — battery failure in 1.8 years. | |||
I bought tata tiago xm in november 2017, and i got baatrry issue in august 2018. Suddenly car was giving sound of tak tak tak on start. Then i called tata agency in mohali. They told that there is only 1.5 yrs of warranty on batteries. Then on other day i called in same agency but in other department i. E, store department. The guy told me that there is a warranty of 2 yrs. I was happy that atleat battery got failed in warranty period then he gave me surprise when he told me that warranty gets counted from manufacturing date. I was surprised. My car got manufactured in feb 2017. He told me that 2 yrs are over and battery is out of warranty. I was really shocked. First battery died in less than 2 yrs. Second multiple statements about warranty period 1.5 and 2 yrs. Third warranty from manufacturing day. What the hell. Pathetic service and quality. I will never but tata car again and will ask others too to don't waist valuable money on tata cars. Was this information helpful? | |||
