I purchased a TATA Punch Adventure Rhythm variant 6 months back. I had my first 2 services from Puneet Motors, Sakinaka, Mumbai. While I sent the car for second service, the mechanic told me that my clutch pad need to adjust as it started playing. As per him I agreed and they adjusted me. However, after getting the car from second service, clutch pad was no hard and tight as it seems like I am applying clutch of a tractor. I let it go as I thought that it will be used to after 1-2 drive. Now, my second service happened on Feb 18th'23 and just after 3 weeks I am facing issues with the clutch system. Vehicle started vibrating at the point of transmission and shifting gears. Watched it for 2 days and then reported again to Puneet Tata Motors, the same workshop. They diagnose and said that clutch pad has damaged and need to replace. This is not comes under warranty. I told them that a car ran only 3000 kms for 6 months and its clutch damaged won't be comes under free replacement as it seems to be a manufacturing issue. They started explaining that it depends as how frequent you are using clutch while driving. We all know that in Mumbai most of the time we are using clutch more rather than accelerator due to massive traffic. Are all the new and old vehicles are frequently reported to workshop with the same complaint?
Anyways, I had to pay Rs. 11, 600 approx. to replace the clutch pad of a new car.
Not a happy customer with the service I received from TATA Motors.
