This is regarding tata zest - xm dl 1ct 2890 the car we purchased in may 2015 since that time we are continuously facing problem as the car every time its show “malfunction indication lamp” on due to this sign the accelerator paddle stop working, it’s a continues problem earlier its arise in once in three or four months by now its arising in every 20 to 25 day and some time its resolve automatically. Many times taken the car to service station for same reason but never resolve. I think its a manufacturing fault and they are hiding.
Last time i was driving the car with my family on highway in the middle of the road i was on 70kms per and suddenly the accelerator paddle stop working (Malfunctioned) and i narrowly escape with the major accident. Some or the other issue continued to come in since then, i have notified other problems like suspension and gear problem also. This is highly annoying to have paid so many amounts for a car and still facing the issues since the day it is handed over to us. The response which we get is very unproductive & one or the other problem continues to come up.
The problem was already into a notice of tata concord service station a31, mathura road, mohan cooperative new delhi, but the problem still not resolved. They always give the excuse by saying that its software update problem and nothing else. My car is now 07 days into the service center and now they were telling that the car batteries need to be replaced. The kind of problems coming in on a regular basis hints that we have been handed over the rejected / faulty car at the time of purchase. The kind of service standards expectation from such a reputed firm are completely shattered as neither the customer care team nor the service engineers are capable enough of detect the accurate problem & solve the issue.
