[Resolved]  Tata Motors — continuous vehicle breakdown

1. I am having a Tata Safari Storme having registration number WB34AD 8213 (model EX), 2013.
2. My vehicle was breakdown at Patna – Fatua Highway on 15.04.2018. I have taken the services of Tata Motors helpline for road side assistance and got the car towed away to M/s Ginni Motors, Patna and paid Rs 2500.00 towards towing charges.
3. The vehicle was diagnosed with breaking of timing belt, HLA etc. by M/s Ginni Motors and M/s Ginni Motor took 4 days to rectify the same and handover the vehicle on 18.04.2018 (Invoice enclosed)
4. However, the vehicle again breakdown while I was travelling from Dhanbad to Patna along with my family at Barhi Gaya Highway (NH 31) on 08.05.2018. The vehicle was again towed from Gaya to M/s Ginni Motors Patna. I paid Rs 8000.00 as towing charges. It was found that while the car was getting rectified at Ginni Motors during 15.04.2018 to 18.04.2018, they forgot to clean the broken HLA parts from engine leading to engine breakdown. On my complaint (No 1-[protected] dated 08.05.2018) to Tata Motors, Ginni motors agreed to get the necessary at their own cost and deliver the vehicle on 26.05.2018.
5. Subsequently, I was travelling with my family to Gangtok from Kolkata on the said vehicle. It was on my way back from Gangtok, the vehicle again breakdown in the midst of a Jungle at Singtam at Sikkim. On my complaint for road side assistance, got the vehicle towed to nearby dealer (M/s Lexican Motors) at Siliguri. The cost of towing away came to Rs 11000.00.
6. The vehicle is now at M/s Lexican Motors at Siliguri. It is pertinent to note that despite so many calls to your helpline, no complaint number has been issued to me.
7. It was quite frustrating that despite so many interventions by Tata Motors and its authorized dealer, the vehicle is still not in running conditions.
8. I have undergone huge physical, financial and mental suffering, due to inability of yours to resolve the issues; as follows:
a. Towing Charges on 15.04.2018: Rs 2500.00
b. Amount paid to M/s Ginni Motors: Rs 48747.00
c. Towing Charges from Gaya to Patna: Rs 8000.00
d. Amount paid to M/s Ginni Motors: Rs 6580.00
e. Towing Charges from singtam (Sikkim) to Siliguri: Rs 11000.00
f. Taxi Charges from Gaya to Patna: Rs 1400.00
g. Taxi Charges from Siliguri to Kolkata: Rs 20, 000.00
h. Amount paid towards staying in hotel at Siliguri: Rs 6780.00
This is over and above the financial losses due to loss of mandays and physical & mental agony, which can not be compensated. This is unacceptable and unbecoming of Tata Motors and its dealers.
