Tata Motors — delivery of tata nexon | |||
As a customer who has pledged allegience to tata in almost every product category, i feel bad having to write the following letter. For a company that has positioned itself as a brand that indians should trust, and be proud of buying, i feel hugely let down. The recent automobile offering by tata motors - the tata nexon is an interesting car, and has superbly marketed on its after sales service. However, surprisingly, we’ve been let down by the pre-sales service. We booked our tata nexon on 25/9/17 at your panchkula dealer vide no 836 by putting forward a sum of 11, 000=00 as a booking amount. We were assured that our car would be delivered within max 25 working days, and that seemed appropriate, since we wanted the delivery to coincide with my parents’ anniversary. Days passed, and i heard promises that everything was on track. Till i was told that it wasn’t. What followed since was a series of excuses; about problems in transit, an apparent quota system in rationing of cars to different dealers, problem with documentation, priority allocation to some customers, delay in shipping from warehouse and what not. The anniversary passed, and so did the blame, from one reason to another. I was then told that i could have my delivery by diwali. And as the tone of this letter would suggest, that didn’t happen too. The monotony of my conversations with mr. Ranjan sales inc and mr naveen gm was spiced up the vast variety of excuses at his disposal. Either the new order of cars that had come did not have the colour we had chosen, or the specifications were missing. It’s been a full month since diwali has passed by and there are still no signs of delivery.in an age of efficiency, this experience is nightmarish beyond words. I have heard tales of how payments of a certain colour (Not white) can get the whole delivery process expedited. Would you recommend me undertaking that (?), because all i see is that others have been given deliveries while we’ve been given promises. If we did have to wait for this long to get delivery, we would have booked a tesla! Does my money not matter, is there some impediment in your production process, is pre-sales services not a thing in the automobile market yet, is there some excitement in selective harassment? I hope you would take out time and answer these fundamental questions for me. Does our money not hold any value or our currency to be paid is of lesser significance or value Where does the tata brand positioning stand now We seem to have been cheated and defrauded by the most reputed group in asia now Ajay goyal Was this information helpful? | |||

I complained to Tata customer care also and opened a complain also (1-[protected]) but so far no +ve response from TATA.
I was owning another brand car earlier and this time I thought lets try TATA because Nexon looks promising and I believed TATA group is ethical and I will get what is promised. Many of my friends suggested to not go with TATA but still I defended my choice.. :(
But sadly my experience with TATA so far is not good. May be it is not TATA but these dealers who are putting TATA's image at risk in market.
Now I am feeling like I made a mistake and I should have gone with other options in the market. GOD knows what resolution TATA will provide...
I am thinking of cancelling the whole deal and go for other brand. :(
