Tata Motors — Dissatisfied with vehicle purchase and reckless sales, service executives, from Key Motors Dealer JP Nagar Bangalore

I had booked Altroz XE 1.2P in the name on Shree Construction(Saatvik Reddy V) on 03/02/2021
Vehicle number:- KA05 B9022, took delivery on 22/02/2021. Key Motors, JP Nagar Bangalore.

I'm totally disappointed with vehicle purchase (Tata Altroz XE) in terms of service from the sales, service representatives of showroom, service centers of Key Motors, JP Nagar Bangalore. I'm also not very happy with car.

At first, I had problems with the finance guys, I opted for Tata Motor Finance, hoping for the process to be semless and smooth but I was wrong, these guys never gave us a clear picture about the process. When what is being done, next step. They kept telling me that we have logged into our system but they never did.

When I started yelling
at them that's when they actually processed my request starring logging my booking into system, loan process intiation. I have purchased many machineries, cars, commercial vehicles but I have never faced any issues with finance people they were always clear about the process, when it will be completed and everything was transparent.

Next after the finance guys approved everything, the showroom guys never gave me a update on anything. They never kept me loop regarding the process. I had to call Mr Suhas multiple times for an update on delivery and other things, he always kept rejecting calls and would never call back.

After the vehicle delivery, after driving it for some time I noticed a weird noise creeping, vibrations into the cabin.We went to the showroom yesterday (01/03/2021) to get it checked, they sent us to service center, 2-3 technicians took my car for a drive they checked they said it is there in every vehicle, it is operational noise but it's little more noiser than other cars. After they checked and returned back, my car noise is more and vibrations increased I feel this because they drove my car in a harsh manner.They say these are BS6 engines we don't have a lot knowledge on these engines not sure how to fix these. If the service team of Tata motors itself can't fix this who else can fix. What is the issue? Why do you such technician, mechanics who are of no use ? The guy I talked called himself a senior guy he didn't have any clear explanation on how to fix the noise.

Today I checked my insurance papers it's mentioned model as Altroz XE 1.2 Rythm but the fact is vehicle I purchased was XE variant not the Rythm.How could they even do this blunder ? If something had gone wrong in meantime, I mean an accident or something, insurance guys would have rejected the claim saying the variant registered is different from the ones in there papers. Today I went to the showroom and confronted them about this wrong model on my insurance papers they don't care, no sorry nothing. They said we will fix this, not sure how? What they will do? They could have told us how they will fix what impact it will have in future. This is the transparency I'm talking about, not sure if the sales representative itself is not aware of what could be done or what is the problem in explaining.

Today when I went to the showroom There was this guy who parked my vehicle left my car door open because of this my car light was on, if I hadn't checked, then my car batter would have drained completed had that happened who is responsible for that ? When I questioned him he said sir I was kind of busy with other cars, there was lot of traffic and started giving lame excuses then I said come inside I want to report this to your higher official then he replied, "He said go die I will not come, Do whatever you want " When I yelled at him he came in. His attitude was so rude. I don't know what he thinks of himself that's not how you treat a customer. While I going outside the showroom I again asked him how could be irresponsible he was again rude I lost my temper and started shouting loudly and him, Meanwhile I see all the sales representatives, employees of key Motors came out ganged up on me and family members starting yelling at us back, as if I had done something wrong. This kind of behaviour is not acceptable at all.I want strict action to be taken against all the representatives of Key Motors who ganged up on us behaved in rude and unprofessional manner. I agree I had lost my temper and said few things a loud, shouted at them but they have no right to shout at me or my family members, abuse us, make us feel guilty at the end.

One last point they were begging, forced me to give good rating on the feedback sheet, all 10s that they provided me to fill during the delivery on 22 Feb which I didn't want to because I had faced lot of problems but even then I was kind enough to give them good rating, I shouldn't not have done that's my mistake.

I had received complains from other owners that service is bad, turns out to be true. If this continues you will lose lot of potential buyers. I have already lost interest due to this, I will never look back at buying another Tata Car. I would never suggest a Tata car to anyone from now on.

This decision to buy Altroz turned out be worst decision of my life.

Please Don't book car from key motor, you can go with other Dealer. To get a booking initially they will tell simply one month two month to get vehicle later they will tell big story for delay delivery you can check image attached.

Me and my friend booked car same date but he received vehicle before agreed date, so if your booking go adishakthi motors instead of key motors.

Not good service, fake promises
