Tata Motors — Manufacturing Defect in NEW TATA Tigor EV

Hello Team,

Since 19th June 23, my vehicle broke down due to negligence regarding the earlier mentioned issue. On the same day as purchasing the car, I contacted Rudra Motors Wagholi and spoke to Mr. Abhay. I shared all my concerns about experiencing a weird noise from the front part/bonnet of the car, as well as noise from the dashboard and steering. I also recorded a video to demonstrate the issue.

Mr. Abhay sent me to the Rudra service center, assuring me that they would help. I practically demonstrated the issue by driving over small bumps and on different roads. I explained everything again to Mr. Rakesh Pillay, who claimed that the jerkiness and bounciness in the car were normal. He asked me to drive for a few days and come back if the issue persists. After a few days, I informed him that the issue still exists, but the workshop guys ignored my complaint. I spoke to Taufeek and other people who were around. Mr. Pillay initially said he needed to open the dashboard and the front part, to which I agreed. However, later on, they changed their minds and claimed it was not necessary, suggesting that I was overthinking the issue. This behavior seems strange, as if they are avoiding the problem.

I proceeded with the first service and brought up the same complaint. The service was completed within 45 minutes. The problem was ignored from the showroom's quality check to the service center. I opened the bonnet and found the front assembly had gone down and came loose due to the absence of screws. The entire wiring is stretched and in danger of being torn apart, relying on a single screw without a bolt seems broken. Additionally, the angles inside the bonnet seem unbalanced and misaligned due to negligence on Tata Motors' part. I am confident that this time you will handle the situation smoothly. It appears that Tata will only respond quickly if this matter is brought to the media's attention or if a major accident or car fire occurs.

Could you please take back the car and refund the amount as soon as possible? You can deduct a certain amount for your benefit and return the rest to me. Don't wait for the situation to worsen. Precaution is better than prevention. Don't sell faulty products and provide unsatisfactory service. Deduct a portion of my money for honesty and better service.

I purchased a Tata Tigor EV from Rudra Motors, which has turned out to be a risky investment. I can't drive my car with anxiety as issues keep arising. Your negligence has put my family's life at risk. I received suggestions from the Tata Team to consider the NEXON car, which is superior to the Tigor. Hats off to them.

I haven't received any positive response yet and am helpless.
