Situation: I have done a prelaunch car booking (Tigor CNG, top end model) as the tata showroom guys committed me a car delivery within 4-6 weeks from launch; Basis of his commitment was Tata motors data to the showroom. Accordingly, I have taken loan through showroom also worth 80% of car on road value.
Concern: As of today, April 8, 2022, over 11 weeks has over, I have neither received a car nor any timelines about car delivery. I have done over 10-15 followups on Tata motors customer care numbers, car showrooms, customer care twitter handles but still no response from Tata motors. Recently I have written again a mail to tata motors customer care which redirected me to showroom guys who again written mail to Tata motors asking the status of my car allotment/delivery but as always no response from Tata motors. On that mail chain, i have followed up for 3 more times but till date no response.
Complaint: I am now feeling mentally harassed by Tata motors by not delivering my car and delaying it to more than double of initial committed time while car booking; also, now not telling me when I will get my car.
I have taken a loan on it and now I do not know when I will get my car and how I will close my loan. I request to take strict action against Tata motors and a penalty on them for not delivering my car with such a pathetic customer service casing mental harassment.
