Booked the Tata Nexon XZA plus (hs) variant because of the sunroof, more than 2 months back hoping that I would get the delivery well in time for Christmas. Waited patiently all this while only to be told on the expected day of delivery that the car wasn’t even been built.
Received a text randomly from the sales team on the day, offering me the Tata Nexon XZA plus (L) variant which apparently has better features but has no sunroof, which was my main requirement. I finally had to compromise on my preferences due to the desperation of wanting a car ASAP for my family to drive around during they’re vacation.
Now very bizarrely I am being asked to pay the difference in the amount of the 2 variants when I am the one having to compromise. So, Tata motors expects me to pay extra for a variant that does not cater to my requirements and is giving me extras that I don’t even need…!!
Trying to speak to the general manager of the showroom to make my point but he won’t take my calls so I might end up paying the difference due to someone else’s fault.
I have known of the bad service that Tata motors offers but I was convinced to give it a go because of the specs of the car for the price in comparison to the other cars in the market. Now I do realise it was a mistake. Would never recommend tata motors to any family or friend because of the poor service. Was this information helpful? |
