[Resolved] Tata Motors — tata nexon complaint of car not working not at all taken seriously by service desk | |
3 days back, i have called tata service center requesting an assistance as my car was having trouble moving properly. I took my car for ride after a month because of lockdown. So due to this trouble, i have called them for assistance as i got stuck on the road. But service center keep on asking me for a reference number. They informed me i need to call tata service desk and get a reference number for my complaint as i have a valid guarantee for my new car. Otherwise, they will come for assistance and i need to pay them as i don't have a reference number. 2 person came from near by service center. They checked the car and were not able to find the issue. So they suggested to take the car to service center. But the car will only be serviced freely, if i have a reference number. I know my issue is not going to be addressed by this day and i decided to get my car back to home and somehow managed it. So i decided to call the service desk as suggested by the tata service center. Call went to queue and no one was available to answer. Waited for around 30 mins so that someone could pick up. No luck. I kept on trying at different time and after 4 or 5 attempts (Each lasting close to 30 mins) someone picked up. But they were not able to hear us. Again tried. Connected. Informed the issue to them. They told us that they will connect us to their technical department. After a few mins on hold, they came back and said they are not able to connect to their own technical department (Very strange) and also informed they have raised an emergency call back and we will get a call back shortly. No call was received on the day. Process repeated on the next day. Didnt get a call back. Called again. Informed them no need of connecting to their technical deoartment and just give me a reference code so that i can take it up with the near by service center. But they told me its not the process and assured me a call back in 5 mins. I was sure i was not going to get a call back. Still waited and no call back till this day. I am writing this after 2 more days from this incident. I know there are restrictions due to covid 19 and all. So i have given them much time and always talked politely as well. But this is not acceptable. Its not the standard of service i was hoping for when i chose tata. First of all, its very important to understand the issue of a customer when they are calling from the middle of a road. I want to know why there is no answer or call back from tata customer care/ technical department. If its hard for you to address the issue quickly, why giving us false promises like call back in 5 mins. We have our own schedules and things to take care each day and it's been spoiled by these lies. Call me back [protected]. Was this information helpful? | |
