[Resolved] Tata Motors — tata nexon zxa+ diesel | |
I have purchased a TATA Nexon ZXA+ Diesel in June 2019. Within 1 month during rains both my front headlight unit (2) and taillight unit (2) shows high condensation and fogging. The level of fogging in the front headlight unit is severe and the same has been raised during my 1st and 2nd servicing. The fogging was replicated at the service centre as well. As per the Dealer Incident Report filed by the TATA Service Centre, the response received is that unless the fogging is in the focusing area of the beam, TATA cannot replace my units. This is a serious driving hazard as the condensation can over the focusing area suddenly at any point in time causing accidents. My car is under a year old and is under warranty. TATA Motors response is irresponsible and frankly deeply disturbing. Other Nexon car owners who I know do not have the issue hence the defect is clearly in my car however I have been informed this is ''normal'' and TATA cannot replace the same even if the car is under warranty.
