[Resolved] Tata Motors — unwilling to rectify factory defect in my vehicle | |||
I had purchased a tata nexon in june 18. After getting it home i realised that the front passenger lock wasn't working as it should. When the passenger tries to open the door without unlocking the lock it gets stuck and the lock cannot be unlocked unless we use force. On my first service i told them about the issue but by the time i was to take my vehicle it wasnt fixed and they told me they forgot. I then told them i will come later to fix it and that they enter it in the service log. After a few weeks when i got time i went to the service center to get it fixed but they told me that its how it should work, its a new feature with tata vehicles. I felt it a very unfriendly feature. On my second service i got an opportunity to check with other nexon cars and when i checked them, they were working just fine as they should. I realised these ppl had lied through their teeth. They didnt want to fix it as they were incompetent and lazy. I complained to the service manager (Pawan) and he was even worst. Instead of showing some empathy and fix the issue he started to act weird and arrogant and told me where i had purchased the vehicle. On being told that i had purchased it in a different state, he said he will call them and ask them if there was any software to be updated and he simply walked away. And again the only thing they checked in my third service was changing the fuel filter as it was leaking and the air filter and nothing else. Even after requesting them to clean the mobile that leaked on to the cables they didnt. They didnt even wash my vehicle. I am extremely disappointed. Was this information helpful? | |||
