The K Brands Aura Thai Spa — Cheating fraud scam in franchise

Hi all,

In 2015, kashiff khan along with the help of sachin shroff successfully scammed me of 1.48 cr. He claims to have the master franchise rights for brands such as "ftv" (F bar, f cafe, f spa), infinity foods (Basilico, chai coffee, koyla), bikram yoga (Another fraudster), sfl, the little door, moh spa and many more, when infact he doesnt have the legal rights to sell any brand. His only in house spa - aka - aura thai spa is the biggest brothel cum 'happy ending' service center in mumbai.

I was lured into buying a joint venture deal of aura thai spa and a f bar in mumbai by kashiff khan. After taking an initial 50 lakhs as franchise fee, which is non-refundable, they kept on delaying the process for several months. After 3 months they said they need about a crore more since they had to procure all the official licences and begin with the process. As soon as i paid them 1 crore, they vanished! Kashiff stopped picking up my calls and his office security stopped letting me get in!

Guys, this scammer is at par with vijay mallya. I'd suggest you not to waste your money. Please advice the same to everyone thinking about investing with this fraud

Updated by rajendrarathi Azmi has also alleged that Khan has been using his name to dole out franchises to several people across India on false grounds. “So far I have come to know of nine people who have been promised the moon for opening franchises of my brands. They have been promised that my wife (actor Ayesha Takia) would inaugurate the restaurants. This is nothing but a scam and a clear violation of business agreement, ” fumed Azmi.
“Khan sent some goons to my restaurant Café Basilico in Bandra to threaten me. Over the past few days, they have taken away my cash collection from the restaurant. I have requested the police to register an FIR and put an end to this menace, ”

Mr Khan and his reputation in the market does not need any explanation. I have been associated with K Group since few years and without any doubt can vouch for him. I had a plan to start a restaurant franchise of my own as I was interested in the art of cooking and serving the delicacies of different cuisines right from my childhood. But taking a franchise of any of the well-known brands is not an easy job. I got a clear idea of the entire scenario after I came into contact with The K Brands, a franchise provider company. True, Mr Keluskar I do agree with you. I have taken up a franchise of one of the premium brands in hospitality sector with the help of Mr. Kashiff Khan of the K Brands. Kashiff is a thorough gentleman who delivered all he promised right from getting the franchise to setting up the infrastructure and then to carrying out the marketing and publicity campaigns. Addressing every concern in a prompt manner is one good thing that I appreciate about the company.

My experience with the Kbrands was good when I approached the company for franchising enquiries of one of the brands. I first got to know about the brand when an event was organised in my city by the company. The business information provided was helpful. The staff are very well trained, gives clarity on all issue i had. There was transparency in each step we moved on from start till the operation of the outlet.

I have been associated with aura thai spa since the beginning and totally disagree with rajendra rathi who says aura is a brothel as i know aura thai spa is one of the only spas which is totally clean and not like the others, which i don"t want to name. At aura customers who come with bad intentions are refused entry by staff, strict instructions are given to all staff and managers not to encourage such activities .
Regarding kashiff khan i can say this about him that he is not at all dishonest and not a cheat as told by rathi.
He may have delayed some payments due to financial crunch but he will not rob you of your money go and talk to him and sort out the issues i can say from your message that there may have been some misunderstanding...Did you not have an mou in place, when you are investing 1.5 crores ?

hi aura spa,

nobody on this forum called aura thai spa a brothel. You should be careful to not give away too much which trying to defend a man guilty of running from the police and breaking the law. I had no idea kashiff khan and sachin shroff were into flesh trade along with swindling people of their money.

i imagine kashiff and sachin are fighting so many legal battles at the moment that their loyalists sometimes forget which case they're currently advocating. .

Lets not get their... I have worked as a manager in the bandra branch west (now it's shut down)which is co owned by manoj bidvai and kashifkhan and Farzan Khan..
I can assure u lots of shady stuff goes in most of the branches.. that too openly to some extent..I worked as a manager in aura thai spa bandra as well as Yuan thai spa bandra..
I was never comfortable working their as woman .. these ppl live off exploiting needy ppl as employees
Don't pay the dues.. if someone wants to quit
I was thrown out due to openly voicing the issues..

Even this fraud Kashif looted my money too
He is a big time fraud person he doesn't pay rent doesn't pay salaries
I had invested 1.5 cr for sfl fitness and aura he never started any outlet he also kept on asking for money all brand are just for show as it is all knows who is he th biggest player from dubai also he was deported I left my money because thes type of dog can only do this as it is now he is in jail n lots of cases are on him according to me in sfl fitness where Shilpa sheets and Raj Kundra was brand ambassadors in sFL around more than 10plp were looted and this scam was more than 60 cr
Biggest fraud bloody Kashif khan if anyone wants my details m ready to share
As it is m not going to leave kashiffkhan open one day I will bring him on road
