I purchased desire HTC desire 816G from " The Mobile Store, Aundh, Pune" on 22nd October'14 through bill no.1492/34927. But due to some reason, I did not take the nano sim, which was required to use the handset. On 15th Nov, I took the nano sim but Nano Sim slot was not working and on the same day, I went to Mobile Store. They also tried but it did not work, I asked for the replacement of the new handset, but they said if HTC service centre confirms, we will provide the replacement, otherwise we cannot. However, HTC service centre did not confirm for replacement. It was a brand new phone with a default. Why should I accept a phone with a faulty production issue and wait for the repair to happen. Can you please look into this and confirm. They also confirmed that there is a policy of 7 days replacement. But as I was outstation, did not use the handset till 15th Nov. Which can be checked and proved with the SIM Card detection. Also, if sim card slot is not working, then its something needs to be replaced with a new handset if its unused.
Sr. Store manager ( Vijay) arranged for service centres to HTC, but I was not provided with a new handset as replacement inspite of the fact that the new phone itself was a faulty.
