[Resolved] The Mobile Store — Non-refunding of Insurance covered repairs | |||
My Name is Varun Raja. I bought a Nokia E630 from the store in CMH road (Invoice No: 31087/[protected]. While billing, I also included the accidental insurance coverage offer. Now within a few days the mobile had been accidentally dropped and the screen broke. I brought it back to the store and they asked me to get it repaired at a Nokia Care centre nearby. The total for the repairs came to Rs. 4, 000. I almost half the price of the phone. They asked to submit a job card detailing the repairs and the bill copy and a claim form all of which I did right then. This was done on around September 18th. I was promised explicitly by all parties at the store I would get my claim refunded in 7 DAYS and now I have been following up on it for over 3 MONTHS now. All of them, including the regional manger (Mr Anandkumar) have been giving me blatant lie and excuse after excuse as to why the delay has been happening. This is clearly a case pure gross negligence and apathy! They are not at all displaying the duty of care required to a customer. I am still yet to receive my insurance claim refund after more than 3 months now. They have completely lost my trust in them and I would NEVER intend to do business with them again after being treated like this. The Indian customer is the ultimate casualty. We are at the mercy of these greedy corporations. I would never recommend doing business with The Mobile Store to anyone considering it. Was this information helpful? | |||
