The Professional Couriers — failure of premium service - package delivery not on schedule | |||
I booked a premium package delivery to goa on 11th july 2018. I booked the package at the professional couriers office on mission road, bangalore. Premium package consignment no. Pro7328817 dt. 11-july-2018 Premium package fees paid rs. 190/- (Rupees one hundred and ninety) I was assured of delivery to the recipient within 48 hours. After several phone calls to both customer care offices in bangalore and goa, i was informed that there is no premium service of professional couriers in goa. The package which was supposed to be delivered on 13th july, or latest by 14th july 2018, was delivered on 17th july 2018, which effectively amounts to an ordinary category delivery. I have every right to be refunded the full / excess amount charged to me. The professional couriers people are deceiving and extorting money from customers using lies and false assurances. This unethical practice and criminal fraud cannot be accepted and warrants legal action against them. It is shameful that when the government is trying to curb black money and tax frauds, the professional couriers is blatantly engaging in such fraud practices.
