I booked the services of "THE PROFESSIONAL PACKERS & MOVERS" address Najafgarh Road, Bajghera Bus stand, New Palam Vihar Gurugram 122017 on the 30th of September 2022 from Greater Noida to Dehradun.
This is by far the worst professional services company I have experienced in my life. They first cheat you and then exploit you for more and more money and then threaten you if you don't pay.
Parveen Kumar - Mob: [protected] was the point of contact (horrible person) and had initially shared an estimate of INR 11, 000 + Taxes for moving household items in a Mahindra pickup 8 feet vehicle, which I confirmed. At time of booking Parveen asked for Rs. 1000 advance which i paid on paytm.
On 30th September morning 4 people reached my address and loaded my household goods in Mahindra pickup 8 feet. The labour person asked me to pay another Rs. 4000 which i paid by paytm and the goods left from greater Noida at 12:00 PM for Dehradun same day delivery.
At 9:00 pm I called Parveen to ask about where the vehicle is after which he said I have to first make the full payment. I agreed and was shocked when the Invoice he shared was Rs. 20, 000. I asked him how come there is additional Rs. 9000 on top of the Rs.11000 agreed. He spoke very rudely and threatened to leave my items on the way. I paid the entire amount on paytm and asked to make sure the goods arrived properly.
The goods did not arrive that night and Parveen stopped answering my calls. After many attempts he answered the call and said the vehicle will reach next day to Dehradun.
Next morning, I received a call from a driver saying my goods are arriving but the driver was not paid by Parveen and wanted me to pay. I asked him to talk to Parveen since i had already paid to him. My goods arrived around 11:00 AM on 1st October. Surprisingly, it arrived in a 14 feet lorry which was also carrying a machine item on its way to L&T above Dehradun. After speaking to the driver, I was informed Parveen had unloaded my items in Bijwasan warehouse after which it was loaded as a partload in this lorry which was heading towards Dehradun to deliver the machine. Needless to say my cartons and bags were badly damaged and flower pots all broken and missing.
I felt cheated by this company and what was disturbing is Parveen actually abused and spoke to me when i complained how he could do such a thing.
Above that his invoice had multiple govt. charges which i am sure he did not pay to the tax authorities. 18% GST was charged, Rs. 2250 was forcefully charged as Insurance, Green Tax Rs. 1600, Surplus charges Rs. 1430 and stationery charges - Rs.1125.
I would like my refund as this company booked my shipment as a direct service and cunningly sent it as partload (maximum Rs. 7000) to me.
Thereby charging me falsely for a service they did not provide and also scamming me in the name of government taxes.
I have attached all the relevant documents, screenshots for your review. Please help me and stop this company from cheating more people like me.
