Bought battery (909h5) for Dell Latitude 7440 via their Amazon shop, since TPS is official distributer. It stopped working from 8 months onwards. Reported this via email at that time itself. They told me to go to Dell service center. I didn't had time to go to service center soon since it was in distant town. I went to Dell service center before the expiry of 1 year warranty, and Dell service center told me they won't do the replacement, for that I need to contact via their call center.
When I called and provided serial number, it was a 3 year old piece and can't get warranty. Got a letter from Dell and provided to tps tech and they replaced me with another one. That one also an old one with different serial number mentioned in the delivery challan(fraud?). To make matter worst, it isn't even working. When I contacted TPS, first they asked me the video of opening the package and talked like TPS is dong a favour since the battery is out of warranty (Yeah, I have been trying to get a replacement for 2-4 months). Their supervisor suggested the laptop is faulty. But I have already checked in a local service center and its fine.
The only resolution I expect now is full refund of the product, I don't want another old-not-working battery.
