Shreenath Travel Agency — Pathetic Service

I had made a booking for my relative (Mr. J J Jadeja) through your website for Udaipur - Ahmedabad bus on 29 Oct 2012 departure at 04.15pm. My relatives experience had been terrible because of your pathetic service. Here are list of complaints that I have:
1. The bus number mentioned on the ticket was 4287. The bus didn't arrive till 04.20pm and then a bus 4286 arrived so when we checked with the conductor he scolded us by saying "What do you have to do with the bus number, just get in the bus." Please tell me, who gives you or your uneducated conductor and drivers to speak to anyone like this. Treat them as though they are travelling for free and your obliging them by giving them seats. We are paying your guys for the travel.
2. The seat number allotted to my relative was 35 & 36. so when my relative got into the bus the conductor was only shouting and screaming at them that move ahead. My relative asked for the ticket but he refused to give to back to them. The, somebody else was sitting at 35 & 36 seats, to which when my relative questioned the conductor he got very angry and asked him to sit on 27 & 28. Why were the seats allotted to my relative, given to somebody else (probably they were conductor's relatives and he was making them travel for free) and on being questioned he got angry.
3. Inside the bus it was very dark and somebody who was sitting before on seat 27 & 28 had vomited on the seat. Unfortunately my relative sat on it. The conductor had hired someone else to do his job (which he had admitted when he spoke to me). Secondly, The hygiene level is so low, somebody had vomited on the seat and my uncle sat on it. your charge us Rs.400/- per person this is the kind of service you provide.
4. When my relative asked the name of the conductor, he again shouted at him saying that "Nahi batauga, kya kar loge." The booking office people, the conductor and driver all of them are extremely rude and mad people. They were screaming and shouting at everyone. Please shut down this bus service if you can't employee better people.
5. Since, I had made the booking I immediately called your office in Udaipur ([protected]) where I spoke to someone and when I was complaining to him, he also was shouting at me. He said "faltu baat mat karo and bakwaas mat karo." Again people were screaming and shouting.
6. I called on the number after 10mins then I spoke to Mr. Ganpat who was fairly better than others and understood my problem. He also told me that he would get in touch with the conductor and get back to me.
7. The conductor ([protected]) called me and I told him the entire incident. he completely refused to accept it. In fact he wasn't even there, one of his friend who was working in his place had misbehaved with my relative. The conductor had promised me that he would apologize to my uncle and now I want a written or email or phone apology to be made.
8. He promised me that he would apologize to my relative at the next halt at 7pm. When I called to check again the driver picked up the phone while he was driving and told "kya problem hai mujhe batao mera roaming chal raha hai." The driver was talking to me while driving. You talk about safety standard and what are you guys doing. He is driving a bus with at least 40-45passengers and he is jeopardizing their lives.
9. In fact we were in touch with our relative throughout the journey and they said the conductor was rude to everyone and everyone was extremely unhappy in the journey.

I had also noticed that the conductor and driver were busy putting in parcels (which is illegal). I had seen people loading huge carton in the luggage area and they spoke to the conductor and driver and left, Which clearly shows that passenger business is namesake and the really business is this parcel/ courier business. No wonder passengers are so terribly treated.

I’m sending this copy to complaints forum of India &RTO Rajasthan & Gujarat. I’m not going to take this lightly and want action to be taken against those people & want an apology.
