Travel Point — Legal Complaint for Negligence and Loss of Luggage Delhi to Amritsar Journey

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent journey with Travel Point Bus Service from Delhi to Amritsar on [[protected]].

At the time of boarding, I was asked by your staff to place my luggage in the bus dickey. However, despite my repeated requests, the staff insisted that I should keep my luggage with me inside the bus, assuring me multiple times that it was completely safe and that “no one steals luggage during night journeys.”

Unfortunately, during the night, my luggage was stolen from inside the bus. All my personal belongings were inside that bag. This incident has caused me significant mental stress, inconvenience, and financial loss.

I trusted your staff’s assurance, and due to their negligence and misguidance, I have suffered this loss. As a passenger, I expected basic safety and responsibility from your service.

I hereby request you to take immediate action regarding this matter and either:

Recover and return my stolen luggage at the earliest, or

Provide appropriate compensation for the loss caused due to your staff’s negligence.

If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to escalate the matter to higher authorities and consumer grievance forums.

I request your urgent attention and a written response at the earliest.
