I, amita shah and my husband dr vinod shah had booked a two day package with indiatravelyatra..com and the advance online payment receipt is from travelvacanza this package was for 23rd and 24th march but due to the all india lockdown situation we were not able to travel to katra. We talked with mr aman on phone who asked us to inquire post lockdown. Waiting until may, this time the person on the phone said everything is closed and cut the phone. Now, trying to call, it is continuously either busy engaged tone or other numbers are not valid. I had made a previous complaint but travelvacanza doesn’t reply to emails or consumers complaint, so hence i’m placing a second complaint since the previous one is showing as resolved even though that is not so. I have not received any calls or emails from travelvacanza or indiatravelyatra.com and issue is not resolved. So it has been a long journey which started 29/01/20 from booking till now august 20 for a refund of 17000rs 2 days package tour that this travel company has not paid back. Though the circumstances in march were no fault of ours. Im sorry that to get a refund in india i had to resort to consumer complaints whereas in usa i had planned five domestic trips which were refunded 100% without any fuss. A shame for india to have such a reputation of fraud travel agents.

Complaint marked as Resolved My husband received a call from ms Kiran who most amicably resolved our issue. Hence, I have no further complaint with Indiatravelyatra or Travelvacanza, since finally we got a response as well a resolution. I’m grateful to Indian consumer complaints for providing a platform such as this .
