Trees — Neighbours forcing us to cut down the tree near my residential site

I stay near Anna nagar, Neelikonamplayam Singanallur. I have been facing immense torture and pressure from our neighbours to cut the tree in the road side. A very old neem tree has grown over the public road on side of my house and its leaves are shedding all over the road for which our neighbours are complaining us and blaming us with abusive words. They repeatedly forcing us to cut down the tree to avoid shedding of leaves. We are not accepting to cut the tree for this reason. But they keep abusing my aged parents in harmful words and actions. My parents are aged and they stay alone and where not capable to act against them. Please corporation authorities has to look over this problem and resolve it as soon as possible.
