Tvs Motor Company — failure of components | |||||
I am working as a senior section engineer in railways. I have three decades of relationship with TVS. My first bike was samurai followed by Victor and now TVs Jupiter. I had purchased TVs Jupiter 2 years back and the scooter has travelled hardly 12000km. I had carried out all the services and presently I had entered into an AMC with the dealer AKB, Calicut. now after the recent service I experienced heavy jerks from the fork and yesterday I gave my scooter for check up at AKB motors Calicut. Now they told me that ball racer is damaged and has to be replaced. How is that a company boasting about TQM allow to pass an inferior part into its products. I can assure you that my usage of the scooter is less and that too on good roads. My aspiration about TVS has taken a beating. I would appreciate if you could conduct a root cause analysis so that inferior parts do not enter your products. The defective part can be obtained from TVS AKB Calicut dealer for analysis.
