TVS Motor Company — self start not working in my newly bought (15.09.18) tvs jupiter zx scooter
We bought a tvs jupiter zx scooter for my wife on 15.09.18 from dhiraa motors, no. 69, arcot road, virugambakkam, ch-92. Now the vehicle is hardly four and half months old.
Within 2 to 3 weeks of buying, self (Button) start was not working in the new vehicle.
We addressed this issue to dhiraa motors during first service in the first month. At the time of returning back the vehicle, they said battery charge was low, they have charged the battery now and it is working fine.
We were wondering how come a battery charge will come down so drastically that too in a new vehicle?
Then, again after 2 to 3 weeks, we had the same issue and left the vehicle at dhiraa motors for rectification.
This time, at the time of returning the vehicle, they said, connection to battery charger was loose, they have tightened the same and its working fine.
We were not convinced but accepted the same.
Then, again after 2 to 3 weeks, we had the same issue and taken the vehicle to dhiraa motors.
This time, at the time of returning the vehicle, they said, coil required to charge the battery was found to be defective, they have replaced it and its working fine now.
We had to accept the same because we were left with no option.
Then, again after 2 to 3 weeks, we had the same issue of self-start not working and taken the vehicle to dhiraa motors.
This time, at the time of returning the vehicle, they said all the electrical connections inside were loose, they have tightened everything and its working fine now.
See the plight of the customer.
Then, again after 2 to 3 weeks, we had the same issue last week. We left the vehicle at dhiraa motors for correction this week and they have returned the vehicle yesterday.
This time, they said everything was found to be ok and they are also wondering why this is happening again and again and came out with a classic comment that vehicle had run for only 1500km in 5 months time and hence asking us to increase the usage of the vehicle. We are really astonished.
Had they told us at the time of buying this vehicle that vehicle should run for a minimum of so many kilometers in a day or otherwise we will have issues, we would not have bought this vehicle at all and would have gone for some other make. Want to know from tvs whether any such clause is applicable for your vehicles?
This time also, we are not confident that issue has been resolved permanently since they have not done anything this time except charging the battery.
We have very high regards on tvs motors and that is the reason for us to go for tvs bikes. Prior to this vehicle, she was using tvs scooty streak for your information.
We are suspecting that they are hiding the facts.
Hence, need your intervention to resolve this issue once for all.
