On 11th April 2024, I handed over my Jupiter vehicle (TN07CW4570) to M/s. Ramkay TVS, Adyar, Chennai for regular servicing with a complaint about the front wheel getting partial jam. Till that time the vehicle was not having any starting trouble either using battery or by kick start.
On the same day, they serviced the vehicle rectifying the problem of front wheel. Though I did not have any trouble in starting the vehicle using battery, the same day evening, I started having trouble of starting through battery and I had to kick start several times to start the vehicle. On 12th (one day after service), once again I tried but I had difficulty in starting the vehicle with battery but kick worked. So, I decided to take back to the same service centre (today, 13th April by 12 noon).
The first reaction from them was "Have you changed the battery?". I told them that the same vehicle came for servicing two days back and I did not face any problem before. They asked me to come back on Monday, 15th April 2024. Meanwhile, I have the following complaints:
1. When we give the vehicle for servicing, is it not their responsibility to check all the functionalities of the vehicle? If they find any problem with the battery, they should have informed me that it is getting old.
2. I bought this vehicle in 2022 (January) and I already had faced problem with the back-tyre leaking on the sides. The person who changed the tyres told me that the quality of the tyre was very bad and asked me to complain to TVS but somehow, I did not do.
3. If the battery was good before the service, how come that after the service it would be 'dead'? Was this information helpful? |
