Uni Card Technologies Private Limited — Credit card payment made twice and company refused for refund

I made the payment of my credit card on 5th July, 2022 as was due. The funds got debited from my account but in the app the transaction status was showing as "Payment failed". I thought that the issue was with the payment gateway and i'll get the refund from my bank. So I initiated a second payment and the same error occurred. When I checked the status of both transactions on app later it showed as "Payment Processing". In a few minutes both transactions got through and the amount was debited twice.
When I contacted the execs at the company they said the amount has been adjusted from future payments and no refund can be given now. Its a huge amount and I need the refund. It was clearly the fault of the app and when contacted the execs just raised their hands saying nothing can be done.

I just need the refund of the payment as it is huge amount and my funds are blocked unnecessarily.
