Too difficult to understand the process of recharging a sim card that I purchased from Uniconnect. I was using their Thailand sim and their website for recharging the sim was honestly quite bad. It took me more than 2 hours to figure that out and finally I had to call up their customer support who said that they cant help I will have to go through the website to recharge the number. I spent 1300 rs for no services or support from their team. What use would that be to anyone.

    Uniconnect sim cards charged me some 1500 rs for moving from Spain to Italy while they clearly said that if I take a European sim card it will be all free. These guys are actually ripping people of[censored]nder the pretext of free roaming within Europe and when I called their customer care, I was told that I mite have subscribed to some services due to which the monies got deducted. Well I didn’t. And I knew it as a matter of fact that they wouldn’t refund the money, they haven’t.

      Pre paid sim cards and services from Uniconnect are the worst ones available online. They showed no customer support when we landed in Europe and our sim didn’t work for most of the days. We even tried connecting them via an email, which got responded to after 3 days. This clearly shows that the matter of the sim not working wasn’t as important to them as to the end user. After this, I am pretty sure, I am not going to use their sim cards in the near future.

        Never ever use Uniconnect for international calling. I had taken one on a recent business trip to China, their prepaid card sim card, which I thought would be economical. And it turned out to be the most expensive plan. The card did not work most of the trip and after repeated calls and waste of my time when it worked I ended up spending the entire credit within 5 minutes into a call. How is its practically possible to run out of 4500/- Rs in 5 minutes. And now when I am calling their customer centres for justification, they have no answer. Pathetic

          The least that people from uniconnect sim cards could have done is told us that their services would be so pathetic that we would have to buy a new local sim card from london itself.. Our recent experience with uniconnect sim cards have been the worst till date. My husband bought their prepaid sim card for our usage there. We paid a lot on recharges and buying that sim card, but that just didn’t work at all. I mean we had to call their customer care via those phone booths that cost you a lot. Overall experience with uniconnect sims was extremely disappointing. Not recommended.

            Uniconnect International Sim Card was the biggest mistake I made when I chose it for my UK trip. I was under the impression that pre paid sim card will be a better choice but they prove me wrong. Extremely poor services, nothing worked when I needed. Their customer services team is extremely inefficient and unresponsive. I would rather not use any sim card at all than use uniconnect in the future.

              I signed up for a pre paid sim card from Uniconnect for Thailand and Oh man what a terrible experience. While I was buying it, these guys painted a lovely picture saying excellent network, best customer support team and so on. So I bought their super saver deal paid some Rs 4000/- in total and was super excited about having a number before I flew out. I landed and the sim didn’t work. Didn’t work at all. And I was told that the money will not be refunded since I bought the sim card even if I didn’t use it wasn’t the companies fault. How could have I used it if there was no network on the number. It was a dead sim! Not only did I lose the 4000 that I paid but also lost my temper. Its best to stay away from Uniconnect sim cards. Their sims have no guarantee.

                I am sure there are better prepaid international sim cards available in the market than uniconnect sims. I bought an international sim card for singapore from them and without informing me that they don’t have a local sim instead have a uk number also which costed me a bomb to use it locally in singapore. The cost of sim card is just 800 rs but it effectively turns out be more than 5000 rs because of all the expensive call rates and data rates that they apply. I don’t think so i will be using their services anytime in the near future.

                    Firstly they have terrible services in Indonesia and then the way they dealt with my case was not even professional. They had charged my card twice for 2 different amounts and when i asked them for a logical explanation, they said it was a mistake and now they have refunded the money. While i didnt ask for any refunds, i still didnt get a logical response for their action. And also since they were insisting that they had refunded the money, i checked my accounts and there was no refund transaction. Anyways my experience with Clay wasnt too good, but now am sure, that iwont be using their services at all in the near future.

                    Absolute waste of money on a prepaid sim card from Uniconnect sims. Their European sim card is very expensive in comparison to what was available locally in Spain. Not worth especially with the way their services functioned when I was changing countries. Total rip off.

                      I had requested for 2 uniconnect sim cards for uk and made the requirement very clear to the person (Ankit) dealing with the case. While he got me the sim cards, he had mixed both the sims up and hence the numbers interchanged. While one was for my boss and one for his colleague and this stupidity nearly costed me my job. Thanks to your careless team members who seem to be so stoned and lost at work that they don’t even realised what they are doing and in return he had the guts to say so what, you can interchange the sims with each other. After all the mess created their services are not even worth mentioning. Definitely not doing any business with them anymore.

                          I bought this Uniconnect sim card for Germany thinking that prepaid option will be lighter on my pocket. Instead it was the most expensive option. A flagfall of 11 rs for every call!! Thats insane. Plus this information wasnt even shared. I realised after making a call that was for less than a minute but landed up paying 13 bucks for the same. After calling the customer care is when they told me that there is a flagfall cost to calls from Germany. Nowhere is it cheap seriously. Its insanely expensive. Doubt will be using their service again.

                            I bought a Uniconnect sim card for Singapore from Delhi airport and without even telling me that i will be given a UK number, i was handed over the packet explaining how the calling would be and how would it work. Despite of me asking about their call charges and all, he kept on saying arre ma’am this is very cheap, you wont get it anywhere else and since i was running late for my flight i just bought the sim. When i made my first call, i was shocked to hear that it was a UK number i was calling from and the 2 min call costed me 10rs while had i used a local number it wud have costed me less than that. When i called their customer team for an answer they were literally so rude in saying that it was my fault that i was so careless and didnt seek information on the number or the call charges so there was no point calling them and cribbing about it. Great service you guys from Uniconnect. I will ensure that this spreads around and people think twice before picking up a sim card from you before flying out to anywhere.

                              Uniconnect’s European Sim Card is really a very bad option to travel with. While my wife and i were still thinking of picking up 3 different sim cards this gentlemen insisted that we take the European sim card which will be very convenient for us. So we did without reviewing about the product. Throughout our journey from Italy to France to London, we were struggling to receive calls. Everything that anyone would call, the call just get disconnected. And apparently we were out of credits all the time. I landed up recharging my number twice for 2000 rupees and even without making calls, money was being debited from our account. Uniconnect is fraud and totally untrustworthy. Neither did they refundd the money instead said that i must have spent it on some service that i wasnt aware of now. Pathetic

                                I recently had a nightmarish experience with uniconnect.

                                I had ordered a sim card for my sister for travelling to spain on 27th august, 2016.
                                I have attached the email confirmation which clearly states the country of travel as spain. The sim card was to be collected at the mumbai airport before the scheduled departure of the flight.
                                After my sister collected the sim, she realized that it was a french number.
                                Since she realized this while boarding the flight, she couldn't return the sim.

                                The worst part starts now. I called their customer care today (30th august, 2016) and told told them about this mix up. They first agreed that it was a mistake on their part and that they will get back to me in sometime with some positive response.
                                After waiting for half a day without any response, when i called them, this is the response they gave me. They said that they have investigated and found that my sister asked them for a french number at the airport. They kept repeating this lie again and again. First of all, the sim card was ready one day before the scheduled flight (They called the previous day and told this).
                                Secondly, the email confirmation clearly states its a spain number. They kept arguing and blaming us saying you "asked" for it at the airport. There is no proof for this whatsoever.

                                I agree that such mistakes could happen. But this is no way to deal with customers by blaming them and making false statements. They should either make arrangements for an alternate sim or refund the amount.

                                Since we were relying on uniconnect to get in touch once my sister lands in spain, this has caused a lot of inconvenience.

                                  I was travelling to Singapore and it happened to see the uniconnect counter at the airport, was just checking and found to be cheap. I made a very wrong option of choosing them i paid around 2.5K for a prepaid SIM, they told you can recharge easily but never got the signal and my 2.5K went for toss, when i was back i called there customer they told the prepaid taken once can’t be reversed. I was cheated will never ever suggest these guess for International SIM cards.

                                    Never ever use uniconnect for international calling purposes!                                       I used a Uniconnect Sim Card for my trip to US (USA Super Saver Rs. 4, 000). Uniconnect Sims was quick to deliver the SIM card but that was the only good thing they could do and I think that was their best service! Call quality throughout the trip was unsatisfactory! Most of the time the sim showed no network! I kept restarting my phone to make it work but of no use! Even complained to their customer service but have not got no help from them. Very dissapointed and do really didn’t see any sense of spending so much money on it and yet wasn’t able to use their services!

                                      Me and my wife were travelling to Thailand for a long weekend, by taking uniconnect SIM card we screwed up our long weekend. We were in hurry to catch the flight we asked for a thai Sim and they had given us UK SIM bunch of jokers at there. Never ever trust these guys!

                                        I went with a bunch of friends to malaysia after our final exams and we decided to purchase one connection from uniconnect instead of multiple nos. But the number didn’t work for most of our trip. When we contacted mukesh at the customer care he promised us it would be rectified but the issue never was. We ended up paying for a new connection which didn’t work plus extra on calling home from random phone booths!
