Union Bank Of India — wrong charge for passbook | |
I am a Union bank customer of Chinsurah branch. I have a saving account. On 10th April I opened it with a cheque book. But still, after 20 days, I have not received it. So on 30th April, I went to the branch to know why I have not received it? Bank staffs said there is no cheque book issued to me, re-apply for it. Then I re-applied. On 3rd of May 2019, Rs 94.40 deducted for 20 leaves cheque book issue. I have checked website there is written 20 leaves cheque book per financial year is free for saving the account. But when I asked bank staffs for it, he denied and said there is no free check anymore. Then I called customer care, They said 1st cheque book is absolutely free. But on 30th April it was the 2nd time for my account for cheque book request. They said on 10th April my 1st cheque book is issued. But now the big question is where is my 1st cheque book? Why I have not received it? If it was sent to me then 30th April cheque book issue is my 1st cheque book. For that, I need a refund of Rs 94.40 deducted on 3rd May. After some days 1st cheque book was found in banks & I lost Rs 94 without any reason for such careless banks. Was this information helpful? | |
