My son send me a television from UK through UPS courier by paying delivery charges and insurance cover charges. he was not informed by the courier company regarding the Custom duties and the additional courier charges at India that will have to be paid by the recipient in India before delivering the package. but the UPS courier deliver me the televiosion in completely damaged state. I immediately informed the courier company about the damaged delivery and requested to immeditely take back back the damage delivery alongwith compensating me with the claim of value of television plus all the charges and the duties that I was made to pay before deliverying me the package by the UPS courier. The UPS had taken back the TV but denying me my legitimte claim. Was this information helpful? |
