[Resolved]  Bharathiar University Coimbatore — Answer sheet valuation

Sir, I was a BCA student (SDE [Kerala]). I believe Bharathiyar University SDE(School of Distant education) is not valuating the answer sheets properly. The students who wrote correct answers get very less marks. It will be clear by looking at the number of revaluation applications received. Revaluating the paper is of no use. students have to pay 325 rupees(excluding bank charges & postal charges) for revaluating single paper. There are a lot of students who didn't got any change in their marks after revaluation. But some students got double the marks after revaluation(and passed the failed paper). There are many students who believe that they will get 80% marks if the paper is valuated correctly. The university will not give the xerox copy of the answer sheet (For SDE students). Sometimes the green box (complaint box) mail id do not work. VC, registrar, or controller do not respond to the emails sent to their mail id (given in university website). All these is affecting the career of students (especially final year students).

Bharathiyar university publish the result late. They fix the last date for submitting 'application for supplimentary exam' before the publishing of revaluation results. That means, all the SDE students(outside Tamilnadu) who failed for exam must spend more than 1000 rupees for supplimentary exam without knowing revaluation result. University will not say the date of publishing revaluation results. The students will wait for the result till last date and pay the (supplimentary exam) amount with fine. University is making money this way. They are not thinking about the students. They may be using a software program which generate random numbers, and give those numbers as marks for students. It is 100% sure that they are not valuating the paper correctly (even the final year papers!).
