Unknown Person — transfer of funds by opening a/c with vodafone mpesa with giving call for winner of iphone 6s

I like to bring to your notice that i got call from uttar pradesh (As per truecaller) on 31.01.2018 to my mobile no.[protected]. He has called for selection of winner for iphone 6s and sent the message for opening vodafone m-pesa account thru vodafone number details after verification of name, address over phone with me to prove this viable. Then he told to transfer 9999 to mpesa account, we will proceed for your prizes. We thought this as promotion for mpesa account by vodafone and the funds been transferred. And then he added as benefitiary for his name, as soon as i came to know. I have called him but till then he transferred the funds in his account by 5000 and another of 4999. I realised this fraud, but till then the funds of 9999/- has been transferred. And now he is keen to take another 9999/- by informing the same activity to win additional 25k. I told him for refund of the amount of 9999/-, as i am not interested in prizes bcoz i hv not received any message for iphone 6s after transfer of funds to mpesa account, as he told me earlier.

So, kindly verify and take action to find out this cheaters who may have cheated with many people. And request to share further without sharing my personal details to avoid such type of future incidents with new people.
