I am traveling from Kanak Chauri (Chopta) to Bareilly (357 Km). While boooking the cab the rent which was agreed to was Rs 8500/-. But when the Taxi Driver named Chandrakant Thapliyal came to pick me up with Tata Punch bearing vehicle number UK07 TD 1321 he quoted a price of Rs 14000/- (Rupees Fourteen Thousand) for the trip. I said I will not be able pay this much. But he denied to go. He was knowing that I have no other option and hence stuck to his newly quoted price. I even asked him to justify the price for a 357 km drive but he could not. Since I had to reach Bareilly today at any circumstances I forcibly had to get on to his vehicle at such an exorbitant price. During the journey he took halts at his own whims and fancies utterly disregarding my need to reach Bareilly in time.
