The tour and travel company Veena Patil Hospitality Pvt LtD operates with the name Veena World charged me 50% cancellation charge on a trip for 6N/7D booked to begin from 21st May until 27th May on the ground that i am cancelling the trip despite understanding the tragic event of Kashimir Pahalgam Attach that happened on 22 Apr. I made the cancellation to the agency the same day understand the situation would only becoming sensitive in days to come. As a normal human being i am scared to travel within few days of the attach with my 8 yr daughter and 71 year old mother. The agency upon calling ridiculed me by stating it is absolutely fine maam, we are still taking trips to Srinagar so don't worry irrespective showing and concern. The Union Ministry of Tourism in multiple events mentioned for the travel agency, hotels, airlines etc to be considerate and refund full money incase of cancellation considering the sensitive situation however the agencies want to earn money in such scenarios as well. tour code JKMG210525/A Was this information helpful? |
