I applied for my daughter (Purvaa Garg)'s BTech (IPU) education loan on Vidya Laxmi portal Application ID A[protected] dated: 7-8-2025. I got a message from UBI bank that I should come to the bank with the documents. When I reached Union Bank with the documents, the manager said that they cannot give me the loan because my CIBIL is 561 and that too only because of one fraud transaction of Rs 26, 000/- whose investigation is going on in the cyber cell. UBI bank gave a second reason that my house is 7 kilometers away from the bank. Who will go so far for investigation. He also advised that we should apply for a loan in the bank near our house. My daughter's bank account is in the same Narayana branch o[censored]BI. Please advise what we should do.
