Today, I purchased a Samsung S26 Ultra smartphone by exchanging my existing S23 Ultra device. The sales representative first asked me to complete the full payment. However, after taking the payment, he refused to hand over the new phone and said that I needed to perform a factory reset on my old device because he was unable to do it himself.
This behavior is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. The staff member’s name is Altaf, and this incident took place at the Vijay Sales store located in the PCMC Bhosari MIDC area.
I wasted a significant amount of time because, even after making the full payment, I was asked to go outside, complete the reset on my own, and then return to collect the new phone. This is not the kind of service customers expect after completing payment.
The staff member’s behavior was rude, unhelpful, and not customer-centric at all. Due to this experience, I would not recommend Vijay Sales to anyone. Vijay Sales management should seriously look into this matter and take immediate action against such unprofessional behavior to ensure other customers do not face similar issues in the future.
