Visvesvaraya Technological University — Delay in Degree Certificate Authentication & Attestation Verification

I, Abhishek Biradar, with USN 3PD08CV001, visited VTU campus in Belgaum, for my Degree Certificate Authentication. The examination section took more than 15-20 days to get the authentication. VTU signed & sealed on the back side of the Degree Certificate.

Next step was to get the document attested by Regional Commissioner Office, Belgaum. I went and submitted the documents to them. They then sent again to VTU asking if the Degree Certificate is authentic/genuine. Now, it’s been more than 20 days again by VTU to confirm the genuineness of the Degree Certificate.

The VTU has already signed & sealed the document as authentic, but to confirm the same to Regional Commissioner, they have taken more than 20 days. Logically & any person with brain, shall be able to recognise the seal & signature already and confirm the document as authentic in just 5 mins. However, they have again taken 20 days but didn’t confirm yet.

The VTU does not pick up the calls. More than 100 calls have been done, but the calls went unanswered.

I would like to give example of Gujarat, where the student got Degree Certificate authenticated by University & attested by the state govt in just 8 days.

However, VTU university itself has taken more than 45 days but the process is still not over. The people there are lazier than sloth bear.
