Updated by Priya C A This company gives us work to be completed in 25 days. And we complete it and submit it on the said date. Typing their 200 pages in 25 days is real hard work. Their one page is roughly 1000 (one thousand words). And we should work at least 8 hours a day to finish the work. And in the end, all the hard work is not counted as work.

And I saw some others complaining that the errors that were not typed by us also are created in the pages due to some software error. Maybe, it is not a software error at all. Like I mentioned in my other post, it is the software provided by them. And after we submit the work, we are not locking the software. It is the company that locks the software which is installed in our laptop. And before starting the rework, we have to get the new serial key from the company's office to open the software in our laptop. So the lock and key is not with us. That means the company can tamper with our files and create all the spelling mistakes in the pages we have typed.

I registered with the company a few months back. I finished one project in 25 days. And got an accuracy report after 3 days. I got the new serial key the next day. I did the rework and submitted it after 3 days. Again after a week, I got the next accuracy report and I submitted the Rerework after 3 days. And then after a few days, I get an email saying I won't be getting any payment because I still have not achieved the 75% accuracy. Now, that's 45 days spent on one project. So, I worked 8-10 hours a day for 25+3+3 days (plus the number of days spent on waiting for accuracy report) and they have written in the email that I am eligible for the next project. That would be another 45 days to complete the second project. But, how can I go on working for months without any pay.

This company's job is not a part time job. It is simply not possible to complete their project unless you work at least 8 hours everyday for 25 days, without a break.

I had a long discussion in Whatsapp with the company's representative. I told him that I will take one more project if they can assure me some payment in the end. How can I work for two more months on no pay? See, if they are a genuine work provider, they would pay at least a small amount to each person who completes the project. There can't be more than 2 or 3 errors in a page. And we are typing 1000 words per page. Without doing sincere work, those pages are not going to get typed. So, finishing the 200 pages is a month's hard work. How can they make us work for one month and not pay for it?

And when I ask them why they are being so unethical and unreasonable, I get a reply that they are following the instructions of their direct client. And who is the direct client?

In another complaint about this same company, it is clearly said that the errors are happening due to the faulty software and the company has resolved it by paying that person a small amount.

So, if I don't prove that the errors are created by the company software, I don't get any payment.

All the 200 pages I typed are in the company's software. I can't show it to anybody if I want to provide anything as proof that I actually typed 200 pages. And it is a .vncp file which can be opened only with the software given by the company. And very smartly, the software can be opened only when the company will allow us to open it. They open it when they give us work and close it when the work is completed.

I never worked so hard in my life. Because I took it as a challenge to finish the 200 pages in 25 days, I had to work really hard. And I have seen some other people also saying that this company did not pay them after they worked hard to complete the work.

When we finish one project, we qualify for another project. That's the reward we get for slogging 28+3+3 days.

I asked the company that the fact that we qualify for another project is proof that we have worked sincerely. Then the company must pay us a small amount for the work completed.

But the company is always stressing on the one word "accuracy". They always ask, "How can we pay if there is no accuracy?" and they say that it is like writing an exam. If there are spelling mistakes in an exam answer paper, the teacher will deduct marks. Oh yeah... but we are not doing this work to get an accuracy certificate. We are working for money. We need to survive.

Another question I asked the company is why can't they pay a small amount even if the accuracy is less. Then the reply was that they want to be known as a company that pays well. Their company pays 100 rupees per page, no less. I said, the company should pay us at least 5000 rupees if we complete the project and qualify for the next project. Because my understanding is that they will give us another project only if our typing is not so bad.

But unless we come with proof that the errors are manufactured by the company's software, nobody gets paid. So, the company is becoming famous as a company that does not make any payment at all.

And another point I like to highlight is ->The company is not particular that we do more projects. Even if we don't take any project after the first one, they don't have a problem. So, that means there is no urgency to publish the pages that we type. Then why are they giving us these tough deadlines? Why can't they give us more days to finish 200 pages and then we can ensure more accuracy for sure.

Surely, if there was any urgency to publish these pages, then they would not be giving it as freelance work. But nonetheless, I and all the others who completed this company's one typing project have spent one whole month typing 200 pages. And each person should be paid for his hard work.

India is world's largest democracy. I hope the government will take strict action against companies who expect people to work like robots and achieve 99.99% accuracy (well... if only 25 mistakes allowed while typing 200000 words, that is 99.99% accuracy). Private companies cannot keep such unethical and unreasonable conditions. Who says private companies can do whatever they like?

If I have qualified for the next project, I must get paid for the first project. I want the company to pay me at least their lowest slab 5000/- for the work I completed.
